This is exactly what I was looking for. A printer with one button (on-off). Nothing extra, no screens, no scans, no anything else. It just prints, fast, and perfectly. It was easy to set up out of the box, and went to work immediately. I used the enclosed CD for set up. It was a little worrisome, because it didn't make noises
as it was installing, and it did take its time, maybe 15 minutes. Good prompts. I did make the mistake of not connecting the usb cord at first, and had to start over, but it let me do that with no problems. The usb cord is not included with this printer, but I had several extras lying around, and I knew this from reading other reviews. People have also said said that that the included ink cartridges are short lived, so I went ahead and bought an extra black ink cartridge for fifteen dollars, but so far I have printed sixty pages with the original. Paper loads easily, comes out smoothly. Cartridges clicked in smoothly. Just make sure the printer is turned on before installing, so the mechanism comes to center position. So far, this no-frills printer is perfect.

Very good quality at an extremely low price and prints pretty good Color pictures.
This is the HP Deskjet 1112 which is of the (1110 Series). That last part was a bit confusing when looking for ink. I got the printer today and set it up with no problem and used internet connection to update the software. My first full page color picture blew my socks off because this is a really cheap printer and the color quality is much better than I expected. The Black and white text printing is also fine. There is a helper program you get that shows the ink condition level. It does use ink pretty fast so I just ordered the XL refill ink cartridges. XL is about double the pages or so they say. What it boils down to is the money is in the cartridges no the printer body. Printer has a settable auto shutoff default is 2 hrs. Wish there was a way to keep household dust off unused paper in the feeder (perhaps another piece of paper?). Does NOT come with a needed USB cable so have one ready.Using Windows 10 Pro 64bit. This is replacing an old no longer supported Cannon that was 10x the cost but it's headed for the trash.
Drop a front door to easily replace the ink cartridges. Remember for best color pictures use a photo grade not what you use for everyday text. If your picture comes out still wet you probably are using the wrong type of paper.
