Perfect for printing photos. I've always stuck with HP Photo Smart because of the photo print quality I've experienced with it and never had issues until it reached it's life expectancy which in my case averages 4-5 years. This time I thought I'd give the Envy a shot, good price and great reviews and I will say I'm glad I did.
So far it meets my expectations in performance, it's also a nice looking printer.

I absolutely love this machine and the Instant Ink is such a great deal! I have a 3 month free trial with the 9.99 a month plan and so far I've been sent 3 shipments of ink, all before I ran out so I had the cartridges when I needed them. It prints clear photos, slightly dark so I edit on my phone before printing. The app is super helpful and easy to use, such a great buy!! It's a little bigger than I thought it would be, but not by much. Sits right on my table in the living room. Easy to fill paper and change out the ink cartridges. The only problem I have is sometimes I can't connect to the printer but I think that's because my wifi sucks and constantly goes in and out. But other than that I'm super happy with this product.
